past the autumnal equinox on 22nd of Sep comes the season with dry air, and the season of dry words, as its the election season as well. the most annoying thing about Autumn is its dryness, and someone having dry skin, they r some hellova days. living in karachi makes it even worse with avg 6-7% air humidity level.
the best part of autumn are the colors. u can see every shade of color in the leaves, from dark green to pale yellow to blood red. and the sound of steps on the dead leaves…i just love that sound. and of course it also marks the start of my favorite season, the chilly milly winter. i still miss those days when one of my favorite hobby in winter was to brisk walk against the cold breeze. and the lonnnngggg nights…i love em…
Nokia E65 February 15, 2007

I came across a cell phone from Nokia which doesn’t seem to have anything missing in it. Ya, i’m talking about a Nokia phone! It’s strange though, as every previous one has at least one feature lacking in it or at least one which is really messed up, though in most cases the number is more than one. It seems like it is a ploy by the Nokia sales/marketing team not to produce a phone which satisfies every user, so that nobody satesfies with one and keep changing their cell phones.
The Dark Age (black n white) models from Nokia were pretty good in comparison with other cell phone producing companies but then there were no Sony Ericsson or Samsung. Now with the novelty of Sony Ericsson and the sleek designs of Samsung, Nokia phones are nothing more then a second class. Models like 8800 and 6111 r complete disasters. Once I asked a salesman about the market response of 6111, and the answer describes it all. He said, “yeh models un larkioon ki tarah hain jo rishtay k intezaar may ghar bethay bethay borhi ho jati hain”, and thats so true.
The N series and E series have better designs, augmented quality and number of features. At last they’ve managed to produce one which certainly will fight the lonely battle. Nokia E65 has big screen size and rich colors (I’ve never seen any phone with that much color depth). Its loaded with connectivity options, GPRS, HSCSD, EDGE, 3G, WLAN what not. And with the built-in Office Applications, u don’t have to pay Microsoft a penny, which in any case we r not gonna pay…rapid share zindabad. Its not yet available in Pakistan though, but it is definitely gonna be my next cell phone.
